Women of Wine Charities is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization
that was formed in 2007 by a group of 15 women associated with the wine industry, or who held a passion for wine and a desire to give back to the community.
Our mission is to further the common charitable interests of our members through educational programs, meetings, events and other relevant activities. Our charity of choice from the beginning has been the Houston Area Women’s Center (HAWC).
HAWC believes in a future defined by safe relationships and caring families, where the entire community thrives free from violence. All services at HAWC are free and available to everyone.
To date WOW Charities has given $850,000 to HAWC with a goal to give $1 million by our 20th anniversary in 2027.
